Privacy Policy

Business listing data: name, address, phone number, hours, website, rating, review count, and photos, sourced from publicly available business information (including Google Business Profile data) and, once a listing is claimed, from the contractor directly.

Contractor account data: the mobile number you verify during claiming, your consent to be contacted at that number, services and photos you add, and payment information if you subscribe (handled by our payment processor — we don’t store full card numbers ourselves).

Homeowner usage data: pages viewed, searches performed, and similar interaction data, collected automatically as you browse the directory.

Information you submit: your email address and project details when you use the renovation budget tool or send a project brief, and your name, phone number, and question when you use our chat assistant.

• Operate and display the directory, including listing pages and search/filter results
• Verify a contractor’s authority to manage a listing, and secure their account
• Send account-related, verification, and (with consent) service-related calls and texts — including through automated or AI-assisted systems — as described in our SMS Terms
• Process subscription payments and maintain billing records
• Improve the directory’s accuracy, search relevance, and features
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Trusted service providers (payments, hosting, communications, analytics) process information only on our behalf to operate the site. If you ask us to send a project brief to matched contractors, your project details and email go to those contractors so they can reply to you — only when you ask.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are used only to send the messages described in our SMS Terms.

We use cookies and similar technology for core site functionality (like keeping you signed in). Our traffic analytics (Ahrefs) is cookieless. When we run our own advertising, the Meta Pixel may set cookies and share site-usage events (such as pages visited and tools used) with Meta so we can measure our ads and reach people similar to our visitors. We do not use cookies to let other companies advertise their products to you.

You can limit ad-related cookies through your browser settings, through Meta’s own ad preferences, or by emailing support@verahome.pro with an opt-out request.

We retain listing and account information for as long as a listing is active or an account exists, and for a reasonable period after to comply with legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations.

If you’re a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion of it, and opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We do not sell personal information. Our use of the Meta Pixel to measure our own advertising may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising as California defines it; you can opt out of that sharing, or exercise any other privacy right, by contacting support@verahome.pro.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
